What is MS flight simulator ? Pro Flight Simulator, Flight Sim Pro, Flight Gear my friend wants to get one

Microsoft Flight Simulator:

Ms flight simulator is Microsoft's attempt at flight simulation, and with it you get 18 airplanes you select from to fly to and from 28 locations ( around 40 different airport's). You can buy more planes and what not if you would like. Microsoft Flight Sim has better graphics and texture than the older version did, and is overall a good simulator for the money.

Flight Gear:

Flight Gear was an open source software developed in 1996 , developers are tend to lack focus on the end user (being us,the public). Flight gear also falls short on documentation for the end user making it geared more towards the folks that develop the software rather than to the general public.

Flight Sim Pro:

Flight Sim pro is the same as Flight Gear, it's just been re branded which is legal to do (open source) , the main development team is not happy that they have copied there work and they have made a public statement that they do support this. Kinda dirty if you ask me, to take someone Else's work, call it your own then sell it to the unsuspecting , this also upset's a lot of people after they find out what it actually is.

Pro Flight Simulator:

Considered by the hardcore flight simulation fans to be hands down the very best. Pro Flight Simulator has stellar graphics , the best scenery , the most planes , jet's, helicopter's and gliders with around 150 in total to chose from, there are no limits in this game, fly whatever whenever to and from wherever you please , right at 20,000 airport's included in the package! The sense of realism is definitely there , you even get the ability to choose how the lights are set up on the runway's , another cool feature is the real time weather witch you can choose to use or not to use , you can change the weather to whatever conditions suite you at the time, Google maps is integrated into the game also.Another cool thing about is that you can set it up to run on anywhere between 1 all the way up to 8 monitors at the same time (wish I could afford 8 monitors lol, I currently have mine set up with three and it's awesome!). Anyway there are tons and tons of features and extras also that come with the pro flight simulator suite , far more than I am willing to type out.
