Pro Flight Simulator Bell 206 JetRanger

Flying is often the dream of many. After all, it provides one with an escape from the Earth's grasp. It is difficult, though, for everyone to get up in the air. Flying lessons are expensive, and even those that can afford such lessons are limited in the time they can spend flying. Fortunately, there are flight simulators that perfectly simulate the controls of aircraft like the Cirrus SR-20 and the Bell 206 JetRanger. These simulators are as close as one can get to being in the air without actually flying, and can provide those that do want to fly with valuable practice time.

Astonishingly, one can learn quite a bit about how to operate a plane from  Pro Flight simulator. A plane like the Cirrus SR-20, for example, has the same control layout in real life as is present on the proflight simulator. This can help those that actually fly the planes to put in valuable practice time in a home flight simulator, and those that wish to familiarize themselves with the controls of the plane before taking lessons to have a bit of extra homework help.

Of course, the Cirrus SR-20 is only one of the aircraft that has controls identical to those available in the best flight sim on the market. The Bell 206 JetRanger helicopter, for example, also has controls identical to those found in the simulator. Though one must admit that a simulator is not exactly the same as flying the aircraft, it is important to note that these simulators are quite useful as practice. If you need to take the time to figure out what each and every button and dial in the cockpit represents, the use of a home simulator is perhaps the best way to do so without racking up expensive bills.

If you wish to fly a Cirrus SR-20, it might be wise to log a few flight hours at home. Take the time to use a home flight simulator, and make sure that you pay attention to how you perform. This may not be the same as going up in the air, but it will provide you with a fair assessment of your abilities. You will then know what to look out for when you are actually flying, and you will have some measure of comfort in the fact that you are familiar with the control scheme of the airplane.
